Claire has been trying to sit up for so long. She refuses to lay flat, and always has her head up and abs flexed. We tried the Bumbo again last night and she loved it. She could sit up, look around and play with her toys.
Yesterday, we had Claire's one month OHS followup. The Dr did another echo, and while they can see some minor leakage with the valves, they can't hear a murmur. She has a normally functioning heart and no restrictions at all! We are so thankful to have her surgery behind us and are praising God that her repair is perfect.
And, just a final couple of pictures because her expressions just make me laugh!
She's so beautiful, Melissa! Isn't it wonderful to see Claire's strength increasing!?! Lily also had some minor leakage after her surgery. Her doctors assured us that it was normal and not a concern. Praising God for our daughters' repaired hearts. He is good...always!!!
ReplyDeleteShe gets cuter everytime I see pics! Do I say that too much? It's true though, lol! Would LOVE to take some pics, maybe we'll have to meet sometime!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that she's getting stronger so soon after surgery!
She is so darn cute. They make an excellent tray for the Bumbo...that's where we feed Hope now. Much more convenient than her high-chair.
ReplyDeleteClaire is wonderful!! so sweet...yeah for the bumbo we luved it for Maddie...and the tray works great for fine motor work!! we even fed Maddie in the bumbo for awhile...it is such a great tool...smiles
ReplyDeleteLOVE her beautiful "expressions"! so so happy that she can sit up like a big girl in her bumbo and see what is going on around her!!! so FUN!
ReplyDeleteAww, her expressions are sooo adorable!!! (as is she!)
ReplyDeleteGo Claire, she is doing so well sitting up! that's awesome, Grady and the Bumbo haven't bonded just yet:)
ReplyDeleteshe really is getting so much older looking, wow!
It is so funny that you posted this! I just took some pics today of Jesenia in her bumbo. ;-) She sat for a little bit and then found her foot and then decided she wanted to eat that little center piece that goes between the legs.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear that things are going so well with Claire! I love the pictures...she sure is one beautiful little girl!!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness she is a dolly! I love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, she is so sweet! Such a little doll!
ReplyDeleteSamantha had OHS at 4 months, also with some residual leakage that they're not concerned about. We've been told that this will not affect her future activities at all. Our babies bounce back very well!
