Claire recently discovered how many things there are to
destroy play with in the bathroom. She's spent time in there each morning with me for months while I get ready, and emptying the drawer was the worst of her destruction.
Until she discovered the toilet paper.
We were running late this morning, so I'm just glad the lid to the toilet was down, because yesterday it wasn't....And no, I didn't get pictures of that. :)
I haven't been able to keep toilet paper on the roller for a few months...it now sits safely on the counter next to the toilet and the lids are always down because as far as Sutter's concerned an open toilet lid = personal water table to splash in! Ah the joys of toddlerhood! :)
ReplyDeleteHo ho! Well I guess it is bound to happen. Toilet paper is the most fun, to toddlers, dogs and cats alike!
ReplyDeleteha ha!!!! Don't you love how kids 'discover" all the fun things to play with...
ReplyDeleteThank you for this smile today...you and Claire were my guilty pleasure since I am supposed to be nose to the grindstone compiling this court dossier... Take care of each other and give that sweet (destructive) girl a smooch from me!
ReplyDeleteWe have had our toilet paper up on the sink for MONTHS now ... likely, at least a year. I wonder when this phase will pass?!? LOL
ReplyDeleteLOVE love love this!! only because Maddie does this to!! and I am glad there can now be a tp club!! Maddie is currently eating it also...thank you for the smiles!
ReplyDeleteJesenia just did that this morning too! I guess her and Claire are speaking to each other somehow. Maybe she stole my phone when I wasn't looking and her last night!
ReplyDeleteNaughty girls! I'm sorry I didn't respond to your FB message. I have to do all my FB stuff on my phone because I don't have internet at home and it's a paint to type back messages with one finger!
I do have to work on Friday so I guess we will have to skip seeing ya'll. Maybe we can meet up in Denver at some point when you are going back out that way. Julian has been getting up early for school everyday and he enjoys his weekends off so I just don't think I can convince him to get up early on Saturday!
Oh sweet Claire, you are following in your friends footsteps! I went to sit on the potty, only to discover it was soaking wet!
ReplyDelete*sigh*
Hehehehe - finding entertainment wherever she goes!!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture! Our 2 yr old used to use our toilet paper stand for a microphone. We had to stash extra paper in the cabinet so we wouldn't get caught in there without any!
ReplyDeleteUm, I think I could forward about a half dozen similar pictures from our home over the course of the last few years. Miss Z can't walk but she sure can scoot and get into trouble!
ReplyDeleteAs for yesterday. Yuck.
Haha...Russell has a strange fascination with the bathroom too! He has yet to discover the toilet paper roll though :)
ReplyDeleteHa, that's too funny. What is it about the bathroom that is so cool to little ones? Luc can now turn our door handles and it's a constant battle to keep him out!
ReplyDeleteWith Tily it is Garbage Cans and shoes. I keep the door closed to the bathroom so she can't get in there. It is a bit tricky though with 2 other kids leaving it open all the time.
ReplyDeleteI am trying so hard not to laugh because it sounds like my household. The trashcan and TP are up high and we have a toilet lock. Ellie has just figured out how to flush the toilet. . . What is it with kids and the fascination with all things in the bathroom?
